When Nikolas Cruz stormed into Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida and murdered 17 people, the mainstream media (particularly CNN) decided that they would capitalize on this horrendous tragedy. Before the smell of cordite had even dissipated from the air in Parkland, the mainstream media began formulating a narrative and an agenda. They cherry picked a few students who looked good on camera and who could speak well. They coached them. They fed them dialogue. And they paraded them around on national television like pieces of living propaganda. And the most disturbing thing about it? They actually ENJOYED it. Two of the activists in particular, David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez, seemed to be basking in their newfound fame.
Any attempts to point out this unusual and downright disturbing propagandizing of the shooting was met with swift reprisal, content strikes and failed appeals. Their rationale behind the strikes? That people were “harassing and bullying” these kids. These kids who decided to make themselves this tragedy all about them instead of the 14 dead kids and faculty members. As a matter of fact…can you name a single victim of the Parkland shooting? It’s difficult since they weren’t plastered on CNN or MSNBC. They weren’t on our televisions talking down to us and swearing to take our constitutional rights away from us. But don’t criticize them on our platforms, or you’ll be unpersoned.
In the past three weeks, we at Revenge Of The Cis have received TWO YouTube Content Strikes, A Twitch Content Strike, and had multiple videos flagged and age restricted. And as of March 3rd, our official Twitter account was permanently suspended with no reason given just as we were approaching 1k followers. Our brand has been battered endlessly by the SPLC and the ADL and enough is enough.
With the SPLC and the ADL firmly in charge of YouTube & Twitter’s community guidelines enforcement, you can expect those platforms to now begin purging the accounts of anyone who’s point of view doesn’t fit in with the MSM’s narrative. This is truly the beginning of the end unless we all stand up and do something about it. We must fight for change. So I am urging you all to support the “Shall Not Censor” campaign. By going directly to their website, you can get all of the information you need to contact Senators and Congressmen in your districts and urge them to consider legislation to protect freedom of speech on the internet! We cannot allow a small, minority group of elites control the flow of ideas and information. The first step to doing something is clicking the link below and calling your representatives EVERY WEEK!
